Bridgwater United Football Club are delighted to announce the formation of a brand-new Under-18 team, set to compete in the Western Counties Floodlight Youth League for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.

This marks a significant step forward in the club’s ongoing commitment to youth development, offering a clear pathway for local players to progress through the ranks and into senior football at Bridgwater United.

The introduction of an U18 squad is designed to provide talented young footballers with regular competitive football in a structured and progressive environment. As part of the wider Bridgwater United setup, players will benefit from professional coaching, top-class facilities, and the opportunity to develop their game under the club’s philosophy and guidance.

Club officials have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the U18 squad will be an integral part of the future of the Robins.

📍 Trial Details

Trials for the new U18 side will take place across three dates at Bridgwater & Taunton College’s Parkway campus (TA6 4QY) on the 3G Astro surface:

• Monday 2nd June – 6:00PM to 7:30PM

• Monday 9th June – 6:00PM to 7:30PM

• Monday 16th June – 6:00PM to 7:30PM

Players should arrive 10 minutes early, fully equipped and ready to begin at the scheduled time.

🧬 Player Eligibility

The trials are open to players who will be in school years 11, 12 or 13 as of September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring young footballers to become part of a club with ambition and a proven track record of nurturing talent.
