Bridgwater United can confirm following correspondence received from The FA, our 2-1 Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary victory over Brixham AFC on Saturday 7th August will not stand due to a refereeing administrative error.
The incident occurred when Jack Taylor was sent to the Sin-Bin instead of being dismissed as per FA Cup rules, meaning the tie has been ordered to be replayed at Fairfax Park on Tuesday 17th August, 7.45pm. The winners will host Ilfracombe Town on Saturday 21st August, 3pm.
The Club still await a clarification on any disciplinary outcomes relating to Jordan Greenwood and Jack Taylor.
