Bridgwater United Football Club are delighted to announce the arrival of Morgan Williams.
Dave Pearse has finally landed the catch he had cast out for some time ago with the signing of the striker from Clevedon Town.
The 21 year old lives in Bridgwater and has been a regular for the Seasiders for some time and is highly thought of in Western League circles. Clevedon crashed out of the FA Cup last week and have had some upheavals within the club and happily for Robins fans, the nippy front man will be eligible to face Ilfracombe Town this Saturday at Fairfax Park.
On his move to United, Morgan said, “I’m really excited to have the opportunity to come here and be part of this project. Lots of people are talking about the club from a far and after speaking with the Gaffer about the plans, it was an easy decision. I’m extremely motivated about the new challenges I will face being part of a new club but also about creating new friendships with the boys and the fans.”
After securing Williams, Dave Pearse commented, “I’m delighted to have Morgan on board, he has always been a player who has stood out when he’s come up against us. He’s difficult to play against and he can play in many different positions which makes him a great addition to our squad with his versatility. He’ll have a new challenge, with a new club, after being at Clevedon for so long. I am looking forward to seeing what I know he can produce on the pitch.”
