We are delighted to confirm Club Captain Mark Armstrong will return to Fairfax Park for the new campaign.

The no nonsense midfielder has been the epitome of the the club’s ethos of ‘Whatever it takes’ over recent seasons continually putting his body on the line for the clubs cause.

On agreeing a new deal Armstrong remarked, “Bridgy is a special club to me and I’m very happy and excited to sign for another season. With the aspirations in place for the season ahead, we are looking to achieve something very special. The fans are everything – our last home game of the season shows what a difference they can make and we are all excited to see them all again soon”.

Manager Dave Pearse added, “It is great to have the skipper with us again. He is a fantastic leader of men to have both on and off the pitch. He’s a big asset for any club and was a big miss for us when he was out due to injury last season. He’s a huge presence, full of steel and will play an important part in our vision next season”.
