Buzz Builds at Fairfax Park Ahead of Exciting New Season

Fairfax Park is buzzing with anticipation as Bridgwater United prepares for an exciting new chapter. A wave of ground improvements, the appointment of a new management team, and a host of high-quality signings have set pulses racing among supporters, with optimism sweeping through the club and the wider community. To give fans an insight into the ongoing developments behind the scenes, we caught up with Club Owner and Chairman, Ian Davis, and Club Secretary, John Fournier, who are able to provide us the following updates on the amazing transformations taking place off the pitch here at Bridgwater United.

Speaking to Bridgwater United’s media team, Club Owner and Chairman, Ian Davis, shared his excitement ahead of the 25/26 Season: “After the embarrassment of last season, I’m really excited to see what’s happening around the stadium. It’s cost us a lot of money and I want to thank our major sponsor, Nigel Curry, who is based in Thailand, for sharing the financial load with me.

“We want promotion this season—nothing else will do. But we need the people of Bridgwater to get behind us. We are giving them a team and a stadium to be proud of, and in return we want them to turn up in their hundreds to support the club. I can promise you we are going all out to reach the Southern League, and urge fans to buy a season ticket. We need more volunteers as well—any help people can give would be very welcome.”

Club Secretary, John Fournier, echoed these sentiments had this to share in regards to the upcoming season: “Now is the time for local companies and supporters to come together and get on board. Ground advertising board spaces are now available, as well as match sponsorship packages and player kit sponsorship.

We already have seven league games sponsored, numerous players sponsored, and season ticket sales are going through the roof. The stadium and newly refurbished dressing rooms are looking immaculate, reflecting the hard work put in over the summer. Add to that a stunning new VX3 kit — which will available at the club very soon — and the future has never looked brighter for Bridgwater United. Up the Robins!”

The early bird season ticket discount ends this weekend. There are two final opportunities to buy from the club:

  • Thursday: 5:00pm – 6:30pm

  • Saturday: 10:00am – 1:00pm
