Lloyd Mills Joins the Robins ✍️

Bridgwater United are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Lloyd Mills, who arrives at Fairfax Park from Roman Glass St. George.

Mills, a proven leader and midfield general, brings a wealth of experience and success to the Robins. He is no stranger to silverware, having enjoyed a highly decorated spell under manager Lee Lashenko at Bristol Manor Farm — where he was named Club Captain at the start of the 2022/23 season. During his time with Manor Farm, Lloyd helped guide the club to multiple honours, most notably the Western Premier Division title in 2017. His partnership with Lashenko also yielded three further domestic titles at Step 5, showcasing his ability to thrive in competitive environments. Mills was instrumental in the club’s memorable 2021/22 playoff run, including the semi-final victory over Frome Town at Badgers Hill, which earned them a place in the final against Winchester City.

Mills and Lashenko’s professional relationship goes back even further, having previously worked together at Bishop Sutton A.F.C, where Lloyd was already showing the drive and commitment that have become his trademarks.

In recent seasons, the midfielder has turned out for both Nailsea & Tickenham and Roman Glass St. George, continuing to demonstrate the consistency, leadership, and technical quality that have defined his career. Now, Mills brings his vast experience to a Bridgwater side aiming for success in the 2025/26 Western League season, under the new leadership of manager Lee Lashenko.

Speaking to Bridgwater United’s media team, Lloyd said: “Delighted to be joining Bridgwater. After speaking with Laz, it’s clear the club is really trying to push forward both on and off the field and get the club promoted. I’m excited to be part of that and help the club make that a reality.”

Everyone at the club is excited to welcome Lloyd to the flock and can’t wait to see him in Red and White.

Welcome to Bridgwater United, Millsy! 🤝❤️
