Bridgwater United are delighted to announce the signing of Jacob Spence.

Spence impressed during the closed season and Dave Pearse moved quickly to snap up the former Ashton & Backwell United defender.

Spence remarked, “I’m excited to be joining Bridgwater United. After seeing the set up, speaking to the management and seeing the passionate supporters, I am relishing the challenges ahead for the coming season. We have a really good group, who are ambitious and we know exactly what we want to achieve this year.”

Manager Dave Pearse added, “Jake is a exciting young defender. He is very strong and looks hungry to impress and do well. He will add great competition to what we have and I’m delighted to get the deal completed.”
