Dan Dodimead Joins the Robins
Bridgwater United have further bolstered their attacking options with the signing of forward, Dan Dodimead, who joins the club from Bristol Manor Farm ahead of the 25/26 Western League season.

A tenacious winger known for his relentless work rate and no-frills style, Dodimead brings with him a wealth of Southern League experience, having also previously represented Larkhall Athletic. His direct, aggressive style of play and ability to chip in with crucial goals make him a valuable addition to Lee Lashenko’s squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Dan played a pivotal role in Bristol Manor Farm’s playoff push last season, clocking up an impressive 9 goals in 45 appearances and earning the respect of his teammates and coaching staff alike. His contributions were recognised at the end of the campaign when he was named Manager’s Player of the Season by none other than Lashenko — who has now brought him along for a new challenge at Fairfax Park. Now reunited with Lashenko at Bridgwater, Dan is eager to build on last season’s momentum and contribute to a side with serious ambitions.
In a strong statement of intent, Dodimead turned down multiple offers from higher-level Southern League clubs to reunite with Lashenko and commit to Bridgwater United’s ambitious project.
Speaking to Bridgwater United’s media team following his move, Louis shared his excitement: “”I’m delighted to sign here! Bridgwater United is a massive football club, and after speaking with Laz, it was clear to me that he’s got the hunger and excitement to make this club successful — and I want to be a part of that! I can’t wait to get stuck in and play my part in pushing this club higher up! UP THE ROBINS!”
Dodimeads’s arrival signals another statement of intent from Bridgwater United, who continue to strengthen as preparations ramp up for a promising 2025/26 campaign in the Western League.
