Bridgwater United are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Laird as the new first team manager, following protracted negotiations with Oldland Abbotonians.

Craig returns to Fairfax Park with a wealth of experience and a proven track record, having previously managed the club to a memorable third-place finish during his final season with the Robins.

Craig’s managerial career is marked by standout achievements, including a four-year tenure at Weston-Super-Mare FC, where he guided the club to their highest ever league finish of Seventh in the Conference South, despite operating with one of the league’s smallest budgets.

His expertise has also been demonstrated at Yate Town FC, Dorchester Town FC, and Barnstaple Town FC, where he showcased his ability to build competitive teams and foster success.

Craig Laird will begin preparations immediately, with his focus set firmly on delivering results and reigniting ambitions at Fairfax Park.
