Billy Tucker Joins the Robins 
Bridgwater United have further bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Experienced forward, Billy Tucker, ahead of the 25/26 Western League season.
A powerful, hard-hitting midfielder by trade who also thrives in attacking roles, Tucker brings proven goal-scoring pedigree and a wealth of experience across both the Southern League and Western League. Throughout his career, he has turned out for a number of respected non-league clubs across the South West, including Bideford, Barnstaple Town, Okehampton, and Ilfracombe Town.
Tucker was a key figure in Helston’s rapid rise through the non-league pyramid, playing an instrumental role in the Cornish club’s recent success. Known for his drive, technical quality, and eye for goal, Billy scored numerous vital goals during his time at Helston and established himself as one of the region’s standout attacking talents.
Now, he brings that firepower to Bridgwater United at a pivotal time for the club, as the Robins continue to build a squad capable of pushing for promotion under new manager Lee Lashenko.
Speaking to Bridgwater United’s media team following his move, Louis shared his excitement: “I’m delighted to have signed for Bridgwater. When Lee called, it was a no-brainer. Ian has done lots of work off the pitch and put in the foundations for us to go and get the club to the Southern League — and that is something I’m really looking forward to trying to do with the team.”
Tucker’s arrival signals another statement of intent from Bridgwater United, who continue to strengthen as preparations ramp up for a promising 2025/26 campaign in the Western League.
