We are delighted to confirm, Archie Sturdy has agreed to remain at Fairfax Park for the 2021/22 campaign.

The energetic midfielder proved on many occasions last term, “If you’re good enough, you’re old enough” as he regularly terrorised opposition backlines.

On committing his future, Archie said, “I am over the moon to sign on again for the new season and so eager to start helping this club to where it deserves to be. Everyone is working so hard to make sure that we give Bridgwater United the best name possible, not just locally but across the country and even the world. I am so excited to be a part of this journey and the group are determined to get off to a great start come the start of the new season.”

Manager Dave Pearse added, “Archie is a exciting young player and we are delighted he has decided to stay at the club. He has bags of potential and talent and I’m confident he will showcase it all this season.”
